This 2” x 2” square evaluation board allows you to test the remarkable
ACT001-10E current sensor and a common application circuit.
The ACT001-10E is a fully-isolated, inline current sensor with
an on-chip current strap. A Wheatstone bridge manufactured
with NVE’s state-of-the-art tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR)
sensor elements detects the magnetic field from the input current
across NVE’s unique polymer isolation barrier.
A preassembled circuit board with a high-sensitivity AAH002-02E sensor and a differential amplifier circuit with a gain of 25. The board can be powered by a 2.7 to 12 V supply and provides a single-ended output with a typical sensitivity of 3.75 V/V/mT (375 mV/V/Oe).The circuit board is 12.5 x 7.8 mm, with Vcc, GND, and OUT plated-through holes for wires or a header.
The SM223-10E Smart Magnetometer combines a Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) sensor element with
sophisticated digital signal processing for a unique combination of speed and precision. An I2C interface provides data as well as an external programming interface, and allows setting a versatile digital threshold output.
Unlike awkward, old-fashioned Hall-effect sensors, TMR is sensitive in-plane for
optimal current sensing and easy mechanical interfaces. Key features include:
0 to 1.5 mT linear range
Can detect magnets more than 150 mm away
Simple I2C interface
Programmable digital threshold output
2% of full-scale accuracy for 0 to 125°C
Fast 10000 sample-per-second update rate
Programmable offset and gain compensation
-40°C to +125°C operating range
Ultraminiature 2.5 x 2.5 mm DFN6 package
NVE's ABL005-10E GMR sensor is an analog output sensor for gear tooth sensing or magnetic encoders. The part features differential sensor elements spaced 0.5 mm apart on the sensor IC arranged in a full bridge configuration.
Bridge Resistance (Ohms)
Linear Range (Oersteds)
Differential Sensor (Gradiometer); senses the magnetic field gradient across the sensor IC. Center to center distance between sensor elements is 0.500 mm.
