NVE Corporation develops and sells devices using spintronics, a nanotechnology
we helped pioneer, which utilizes electron spin rather than electron
charge to acquire, store and transmit information.
We make spintronics practical by manufacturing high-performance products
including sensors and couplers data in industrial, scientific, and medical
applications. We have also licensed our spintronic magnetoresistive
random access memory technology, commonly known as MRAM.
The company was founded in 1989 as Nonvolatile Electronics, Inc., and
became known as NVE Corporation in 2000 when its stock was first publicly
traded. NVEs stock was listed on the NASDAQ in January 2003 at an initial
price of $7.85 per share. The trading symbol is NVEC; the stock is also
quoted on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the symbol NVK.
NVE is located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, a suburb of Minneapolis.
