This 2” x 2” square evaluation board allows you to test the remarkable
ACT001-10E current sensor and a common application circuit.
The ACT001-10E is a fully-isolated, inline current sensor with
an on-chip current strap. A Wheatstone bridge manufactured
with NVE’s state-of-the-art tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR)
sensor elements detects the magnetic field from the input current
across NVE’s unique polymer isolation barrier.
A preassembled circuit board with a high-sensitivity AAH002-02E sensor and a differential amplifier circuit with a gain of 25. The board can be powered by a 2.7 to 12 V supply and provides a single-ended output with a typical sensitivity of 3.75 V/V/mT (375 mV/V/Oe).The circuit board is 12.5 x 7.8 mm, with Vcc, GND, and OUT plated-through holes for wires or a header.
The SM223-10E Smart Magnetometer combines a Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) sensor element with
sophisticated digital signal processing for a unique combination of speed and precision. An I2C interface provides data as well as an external programming interface, and allows setting a versatile digital threshold output.
Unlike awkward, old-fashioned Hall-effect sensors, TMR is sensitive in-plane for
optimal current sensing and easy mechanical interfaces. Key features include:
0 to 1.5 mT linear range

Simple I2C interface
Programmable digital threshold output
2% of full-scale accuracy for 0 to 125°C
Fast 10000 sample-per-second update rate
Programmable offset and gain compensation
-40°C to +125°C operating range
