ADT001-10E Rotation Sensors provide two binary digital outputs to accurately indicate the absolute rotational quadrant of a rotating magnet. The two outputs are 90 degrees out of phase to also provide directional information.
An additional output indicates a fault if the magnetic field is too high.
The ADT001 is high hysteresis for high noise immunity in applications such as speed sensing and counting rotations or where motion is in only one direction.
The sensors use NVE’s unique Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) technology to minimize power consumption and size.
The sensors are typically used with
radially-magnetized disk magnets or split pole magnet.
An Evaluation Kit is available with an angle sensor, magnet, circuit board with indicator LEDs, and a plastic magnet locating fixture.
Note: Please purchase in increments of 100 when purchasing quantities of 100 or more.
ADT002-10E Rotation Sensors provide two binary digital outputs to accurately indicate the absolute rotational quadrant of a rotating magnet. The two outputs are 90 degrees out of phase to also provide directional information.
The ADT002 is lower hysteresis than the ADT005 to provide accurate, absolute rotational quadrant information.

ADT005-10E Rotation Sensors provide two binary digital outputs to accurately indicate the absolute rotational quadrant of a rotating magnet. The two outputs are 90 degrees out of phase to also provide directional information.
The ADT005 is higher hysteresis than the ADT002 for high noise immunity in applications such as speed sensing and counting rotations or where motion is in only one direction.
To minimize power, the ADT005 does not include
the high-field detection circuitry included in the ADT001 version, and is slightly less accurate due to lower-power circuitry.
The sensors use NVE’s unique Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) technology to minimize power consumption and size.
