The SM124-10E Smart Magnetometer combines an omnipolar GMR sensor element with with easy-to-use digital signal processing.

A digital output provides precise, programmable thresholds. An I²C interface provides magnetic field data, as well as a calibration interface. The device is factory calibrated for accuracy. Calibration coefficients are stored in internal nonvolatile memory.

All commands, data, and coefficients are a single byte, and a slick, elegant data structure lets you get up and running with a minimum of firmware.
