Powering
Magnetic Sensors with Scavenged Power
Scavenged power is used for sensor applications such as water meters. NVE Tunneling
Magnetoresistance (TMR) nanopower sensors can be powered by button cells, solar
cells, or piezoelectric transducers.
NVE makes four types of nanopower sensors, each with a supply current of three
microamps or less at three volts: magnetic switch sensors, angle sensors, rotation
sensors, and magnetometer sensors.
Here's a summary of our most popular models:

digital isolators are used to isolate PWM signals from an inverter circuit in
the DC-DC convertor section of a power-harvesting system. IL600CMTI-Series ultrahigh
Common-Mode Transient Immunity isolators allow higher switching speeds and therefore
higher efficiency in power conversion applications.
October Tradeshows
NVE
distributor Dimac Red SpA will exhibit at RADECS, October 1 in Antwerp,
Belgium; Booth 16. RADECS features solutions for radiation environments,
and NVE's spintronics-based sensors and isolators are inherently radiation-tolerant.
Distributor
Rhopoint Components will exhibit at the Engineering Design Show, October 8
and 9 in Coventry, England; Stand J3. It's the UK's biggest show dedicated to
mechanical, electronic, and embedded design.
Distributor
Angst+Pfister will exhibit at Hydrogen Technology World Expo, October 21
to 23 in Hamburg. NVE components are used for energy conversion, control units,
and industrial plant controls.
NVE
will exhibit at MD&M
Midwest, October 21 and 22 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. It's
billed as the largest event of its kind in the Midwest. NVE has decades of experience
with medical instruments, surgical robots, and medical devices, including life-sustaining
applications. |
