Texas Instruments has discontinued
tube bulk packaging. NVE continues to stock parts in full or partial tubes
for most isolator part types,
as well as 7-inch and 13-inch reels.

No Obsolescence Here
If
you're tired of constant isolator obsolescence, "life-cycle churn,"
"Not Recommended for New Designs," out-of-stock parts, long lead times,
and allocations, turn to NVE. We invented digital isolators in 1999 and still
sell those original parts. All are tariff-free and available from our website
or from distributors across the globe.
Rigorous Standards
NVE spintronic isolators are superior to conventional parts for speed, isolation
voltage, barrier life, and barrier resistance. Our isolators pass rigorous standards
including IEC 60747-17, VDE 0884-17, UL1577, IEC 62368-1:2023, IEC 60601, ATEX,
and IECEx.
State-of-the-Art Isolators
Come to NVE for replacements to obsoleted parts, and stay for state-of-the-art
isolators, including best-in-class 7 kVrms
Reinforced Isolation, best-in-class
common mode transient immunity, and best-in-class
radiation tolerance.
Committed to the Long Term
NVE specializes in isolators. It's not just another product line to be added or
pruned. Our support staff lives and breathes isolators. We're here for you today,
and we'll be here tomorrow.
Isolators
in Tubes
While other companies are obsoleting isolators in bulk tubes, NVE continues to
offer most isolator
part types, including SOIC8, QSOP16, SOIC16N, and SOIC16W, in 50- or
100-piece tubes, since many customers still prefer them.
New Isolator Cross Reference
Our award-winning Isolator Cross Reference
has been upgraded with thousands of parts, including recently obsoleted parts
from companies such as Texas Instruments, Analog Devices, Maxim Integrated, and
Skyworks. The new site is easy to navigate, and uses sophisticated search algorithms
and artificial intelligence to recommend the best replacements and alternates.

The site has links to datasheets, EDA downloads, STEP models, stock levels, and
pricing, with easy ordering direct from the manufacturer.
Independent
Papers
A recent peer-reviewed paper describes the need for isolation in a vehicle motor
drive.
Excerpts:
To guarantee safe and reliable electrical compatibility, the board integrates
IL711-3E digital isolators
(NVE Corporation, Eden Prairie, MN, USA), which enable bidirectional signal transmission
while ensuring effective galvanic isolation between the low-voltage control domain
and the motor-related subsystems.
The isolation board plays a key role in enhancing the reliability, electrical
safety, and overall robustness of the BLDC motor control system.
