EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.February
25, 2025NVE Corporation today announced the launch of the worlds most
advanced magnetic switch sensors with these best-in-class features:
Immune to double switching artifacts
Single or dual threshold versions
Operation up to 150 degrees Celsius
Operation on power supplies up to 30 volts
20 milliamp output drive
Greater than one tesla field immunity
Advanced Technology
ADA-Series magnetic switch sensors use advanced sensing elements to eliminate
double switching artifacts in applications such as cylinder position sensing.
Single or Dual Thresholds
Parts are available with single or dual operating point thresholds. The single-threshold
ADA021-10E and ADA021-00E
have a typical operate point of two millitesla. The ADA021-10E
is packaged as an ultraminiature 2.5 by 2.5 millimeter DFN6, and the ADA021-00E
is in an industry-standard MSOP8 package. The two-threshold ADA32124-00E
has operate points of two and 2.8 millitesla. The two operate points can
be used to detect speed and direction, control end-of-travel speed, or tune ultraprecise
switching thresholds.
Exceptionally Rugged
The robust parts have an extended 150 degrees Celsius temperature range for
harsh industrial environments and operate from 4.5 to 30-volt power supplies.
The sensors can withstand magnetic fields up to 1.4 tesla without their operation
being disturbed, making them immune to the effects of high external currents or
strong motor magnets.
Applications
Applications for ADA-Series magnetic switch sensors include pneumatic cylinder
position sensing, proximity sensing, speed sensing, and rotation sensing.
Available Now
Three part types are in stock and available now. Visit NVEs

Evaluation Board
An
evaluation board
allows easy testing an ADA32124-00E two-threshold sensor. The board includes the
sensor and LEDs to indicate the state of the two outputs. The board can be powered
with a 4.5 to 30-volt supply.
About NVE
NVE is a leader in the practical commercialization of spintronics, a nanotechnology
that relies on electron spin rather than electron charge to acquire, store, and
transmit information. The company manufactures high-performance spintronic products
including sensors and couplers that are used to acquire and transmit data.
