The unique AHK991-14E is a high-field, low voltage, low power, TMR magnetic switch, designed for MRI detection in implantable medical devices.
The sensors have a 350 mT (3500 Oe) typical operate point, which is high enough to detect MRI fields or strong, rare-earth magnets in close proximity. Such high fields disrupt most other magnetic sensors.
The sensors can withstand unlimited fields without
being damaged or turning off.
Unlike Hall effect or other sensors, the switch is sensitive to magnetic fields in any direction.
Key Specifications:
350 mT operate point
0.9 to 1.8 V
2 µA typical supply current
3000 Hz switching speed
-40 to 85°C
The AKT001-14E is an ultrahigh-field magnetometer sensor that provides precise sensing of magnetic fields up to 1.5 T (15 kOe). NVE’s unique Tunneling Magnetoresistive (TMR) technology provides unmatched field range, low power, and small size.
Features:
Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) technology
1.5 T saturation
0.05 to 1 T linear range
High resistance for battery powered applications
Sensitive to fields of any direction in the IC plane
Ratiometric Wheatstone bridge outputs
Wide supply voltage range (
This kit includes an evaluation board with the ultraminiature, ultralow-power ADL021 magnetic switch.
The board has a digital output, and can be powered from a 3.3-volt nominal supply. An LED shows the output.
A miniature bar magnet is included so you can see for yourself how these remarkable sensors work.
Typical sensor quiescent current is only 100 nA, the sensor operate point is 20 Oe, and the sensors are 1.1 mm x 1.1 mm.
These miniature evaluation boards are just 0.25 x 1.57 inches (6 x 40 mm).
NVE's AKL003-12E GMR GMR Gear Tooth Sensor is a digital output speed sensor for coarse-pitch gear tooth sensing and magnetic encoders. It is based on NVE's ABL006 differential sensor, and is easily biased with a permanent magnet for use with a gear-tooth style target. It provides a large airgap and 50% duty cycle current-modulated output over the -40C to +150C temperature range.
This is a Lead (Pb) free, RoHS compliant part.

Galvanically-isolated high-speed RS-485 differential bus transceiver with 2500 Vrms isolation, 2 kV Bus ESD, and 20 kV/microsecond transient immunity. The IL 485 has a 35 Mbd data rate and is Profibus recognized. Available in a 0.3"-wide 16-pin SOIC package.
The IL485W performs the same EIA-485 and PROFIBUS functions as the IL485, but has an additional uncommitted isolation channel which is useful for fault detection in bus contention situations.
