EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.May
27, 2026NVE Corporation today announced the first parts in its new AHT9xx-20E
line of ultraminiature Wafer-Level Chip-Scale Package (WLCSP) magnetic switch
sensors.
These new versions are designed for 1.5-volt battery supplies, and have ultralow
power consumption without duty cycling.
The 0.65 by 0.65 millimeter (0.025 by 0.025 inch) package is ideal for space-constrained
applications and provides unmatched spatial sensitivity and precision.
Unique Products
Magnetic switches turn on when a magnetic field is applied and turn off when the
field is removed. The applied field can be of either polarity, and the operate
points are extremely stable over supply voltage and temperature. The open-drain
outputs sink up to 100 microamps.
Key specifications of the new product line include:
0.9 to 1.8 supply voltage for battery operation
0.35 microamp typical supply current at 1.5 volts
Magnetic operate points as low as 1.5 mT
Omnipolar
Ultraminiature 0.65 x 0.65 mm four-pad solder-bumped
WLCSP
Breakout Boards
Convenient 0.8 x 0.4 inch (21 x 10 mm) breakout boards are available, featuring
pre-soldered WLCSP sensors, 0.1" headers, and 1 mm-pitch card-edge connectors.
Two Switch Points
Models with one 2.2 and 3.2 millitesla operate points are currently in stock for
immediate delivery. A 1.5 millitesla version is planned for future release. Breakout
boards are also available.
