NVE Introduces Family of Worlds Smallest 2.5 Kilovolt
Isolators
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.April 20, 2015NVE Corporation has introduced
2.5 kV isolation versions of its IsoLoop® IL700-1 Series MSOP
Isolators, the worlds smallest isolators. The new versions are designated
with a V-1 suffix.
Worlds Smallest
With JEDEC-standard 3 millimeter by 3 millimeter MSOP-8 packages, IsoLoop®
IL700-1 Series Isolators are the worlds smallest isolators. Until now they
were only available with 1 kV isolation ratings.
Exceptional Specifications
To meet the full industry-standard 2.5 kVrms isolation specification, V-1
MSOP Isolators are 100% tested to withstand 3 kVrms, which is unprecedented
for such a small part.
Other V-1 series MSOP specification highlights are:
One and two channels; unidirectional and bidirectional
110 megabits per second
2.5 kVrms isolation (1 minute) per UL 1577
600 Working Voltage (line voltage) per VDE 0884-10
100 teraohm minimum barrier resistance
-40°C to +100°C operating temperature
44000 year barrier life
3 millimeters creepage
Available Now
All three part types are in stock for immediate delivery:
The one-channel IL710V-1E
The two-channel (both same direction) IL711V-1E
The two-channel (one each direction) IL712V-1E
Suggested pricing is $2.75 each in quantities of 1000 for the single-channel IL710V-1E,
and $4.46 for the IL711V-1E and IL712V-1E two-channel parts.
The original MSOP versions with 1 kV isolation will continue to be available
for applications not requiring safety isolation.
