6 kV Isolators |

V-Series
Isolators are now rated to 6 kVrms, extending their best-in-class high-voltage
performance.
The new V-Series Isolators are 100% tested to a jolt-worthy 7.2 kVrms (more
than 10 kVpeak), and to a best-in-class 1000 Vrms Working Voltage per
VDE 0884-10.
All IsoLoop Isolators feature a revolutionary ceramic/polymer composite isolation
barrier provides a remarkable 44000 year extrapolated life and barrier resistance
of more than 1014 ohms.
The new V-Series specifications include:
• 6 kVrms isolation (1 minute) per UL 1577
• 1 kV Working Voltage (line voltage) per VDE 0884-10
• 10 kV surge voltage per VDE 0884-10
• -40°C to +125°C operating temperature
• >1014 ohm barrier resistance
• Wide-body packages with True 8 mm creepage
• 2, 4, and 5 channels, plus RS-422 and RS-485 configurations
Applications include:
• Medical instruments
• Smart-grid interfaces
• Motor drives
• Power supplies
