NVE Corporation Introduces
Industry's Fastest
High-Speed Digital Isolator Family of Products
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 3, 2001--NVE Corporation
(NVE) has released for production and is now shipping a
complete family of single and multi-channel digital isolator products
that allow the highest data transmission rate of any product on the
market. Having very low power consumption and cost, the IL7XX
IsoLoop® high-speed 2500VRMS isolator product family offers a 4
times improvement over the best optocouplers on the market. The GMR
based isolation products offer the highest accuracy, densest
packaging, and fastest data isolation throughput available for noisy
or high voltage environments.
The Isoloop product family is ideally suited for industrial data
bus, analog to digital conversion and telecom applications. The IL7XX
series delivers a data rate of 100 megabaud with 2 ns pulse width
distortion and 10 ns propagation delay and is available in product
configurations that range from one to four channels in both
unidirectional and bi-directional configurations. The IL7XX series
also features 30 kV/µs typical transient immunity and operates from -40 to +100°C, making it ideal for harsh environments.
The IL710/11/12 are single, dual and bi-directional CMOS to CMOS
isolated buffers and are available in 8 pin DIP and SOIC packages.
The IL715/16/17 are four channel devices that offer 4, 2x2 and 3x1
directional channels and are available in a 16 pin wide body SOIC
package.
The IL7XX IsoLoop® family can replace existing high-performance
optocouplers with better specifications and lower cost. In the 1000
unit quantity, the IL710 is priced at $2.10, the IL711/12 is $3.57 and
the IL15/16/17 is $4.60. IsoLoop® products are true logic-to-logic
CMOS devices integrated with NVE's proprietary giant magnetoresistive
(GMR) technology. Detailed product data sheets are available at NVE's
website: www.isoloop.com; or e-mail questions to: isoinfo@nve.com
